RRC works closely with industry to ensure that programs are relevant and will benefit students in assessing their interests and planning their career.

Sports

Students at the College can use both the North and South Gym at the Notre Dame Campus and the Fitness Centre at the Princess Street Campus free of charge by showing their student card. The North Gym has a weight room and offers intramural sports throughout the year such as volleyball, basketball, floor hockey, and badminton. They also offer aerobics, Tai Chi, Tae Bo, and yoga classes for a small fee. Students can also borrow equipment to use in the Gym. The South Gym has an indoor running track for those who like to walk, jog, or run.

Activities

A variety of intramural programs are run at the College and all are well participated in. Games are usually held during the lunch hours. Student intramural coordinators are hired to help run the programs.

Clubs

The Students’ Association supports clubs on campus for fundraising for graduations or for meeting people with similar interests. Registration forms are available in DM20.

Information Technology

Many RRC programs are "laptop" programs. In these programs, every student is assigned a laptop computer for communication, class notes, testing, and other course content. The two largest campuses of RRC have numerous Internet connections and workstations in the libraries, lunchroom, and in classrooms and meeting rooms.

Cultural

The Diversity and Inclusive Initiatives Office facilitates and delivers support services to culturally diverse students, serves as the contact between ethnically-diverse communities and the College, provides expertise to academic departments on a broad range of inclusive learning issues, and supports diversity-related initiatives of the College.

Special Services

Students at RRC have access to free tutoring, learning assistance, exam accommodation, and inclusive classroom policies.

Affiliated Institutions

Several RRC programs are joint-degree programs with the University of Manitoba and the University of Winnipeg. Other programs have articulation agreements to continue related studies at the university/degree level. Completion of RRC's Academic English program provides eligibility for acceptance directly into academic programs at RRC, and at the University of Manitoba and the University of Winnipeg.
